General terms and conditions in Vaihmalan Hovi
- SCOPE OF APPLICATIONS AND SPECIAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
You and the hotel agree to the terms and conditions of the room rental. The name of the company that runs the hotel (hereinafter referred to as ‘Vaihmalan hovi`or ´the hotel`) and with which the agreement is concluded, is stated in the booking confirmation. Unless a special agreement is concluded, the following rules apply. Special rules apply for conferences, travel agencies and group bookings. - BOOKING AND CONFIRMATION
A booking is binding once it has been confirmed and you have received a booking reference number. You may receive this verbally, in writing, or through our booking system. When you make a booking, you must state your name, address, phone number, email address, arrival and departure time, and payment method. It is important for you to provide your email address so you can receive your booking confirmation. Different terms apply to different rates; please see the detailed pricing information. - ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Your room is available to you from 4 pm on arrival day, until noon of the departure day unless other times have been stated.
The room is kept under reservation for you until 6 pm arrival day, if other arrival times have not been arranged. If you plan to arrive later, you must confirm your late arrival with a credit card. If late arrival has not been confirmed, the hotel reserves the right to offer the room to another customer after 6 pm. - CANCELLING THE RESERVATION AND NO SHOW AT THE HOTEL
Cancellations must be done no later than 6 pm on the previous night before arrival.
If you do not show up and you have not cancelled the booking in advance, or if you cancel after 18:00 local time, you will be charged for one night’s accommodation and any addittional services related to the reservation. - DEPARTURE BEFORE THE AGREED TIME
If you have booked a room for a certain length of time but leave the hotel earlier, this may give rise to a price adjustment. You must notify the hotel of your departure by 18:00 the day before your departure. Otherwise, you will be required to pay an extra night - FEES AND CHARGES
Payment in advance is required for certain price offers. The prepaid amount will be deducted from your final bill. If the booking is cancelled after the cancellation deadline, the hotel is entitled to withhold a booking fee/advance payment. The room bill must normally be paid upon arrival at the hotel. We accept the most widely used credit and debit cards. The hotel is not obliged to accept credit and debit cards, cheques, vouchers, or foreign currency. - CUSTOMER CONDUCT AT THE HOTEL
Hotel guests are expected o observe good manners and hotel regulations. If a guest violates these rules, they may be ejected from the hotel. The accommodation and any ordered addittional service must still be paid, and no refunds cannot be demanded - THE HOTELS RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR BELONGINGS
The guest is in charge of the safety of their belongings, and the hotel does not take responsibility of missing belongings. The hotel is also not responsible for any damage or disapperance of vehicles parked in hotel parking lot or any items left inside the vehicle. - CUSTOMERS’S LIABILITY FOR DAMAGE
The guest is liable for all damages that they, their pets or their guests intentionally or negligently cause to the hotel room or other hotel premises, hotel furniture or other equipment, or to other customers or their property.
Liability for damage is determined in accordance with general liability principes
SUSPENSION OF SERVICE
Making a reservation can be prevented or accepting reservations can be refused if customers fail to observe the terms and conditions or the service provider has reason to believe the premises would be used in illegal activities or in activities that would cause damage to Vaihmalan Hovi or a third party in any way.
