How to get to us
By car
From Tampere
From the freeway take the exit number 34. Turn right towards Lempäälä. Just short of 2km, turn right towards Lippo. After about 500m, turn right on Vaihmalantie. After 400m turn left and you are here!
From Helsinki
From the freeway take the exit number 34. Keep right until you arrive to a T-intersection. Take left towards Lempäälä. Just short of 2km, turn left towards Lippo. After about 500m, turn right on Vaihmalantie. After 400m turn left and you are here!
Train
You can take the train to Lempäälä train station, which is located a short taxi ride (about 3km) away in the center of Lempäälä.
Local trains (M and R) from Tampere run every hour and the trip takes about 10 minutes.
Local train (R) from Helsinki takes about 2 hours.
From Tampere and Helsinki you can also take the IC trains, or even the Pendolino, which are quicker. Just make sure the one you choose stops at Lempäälä, not all of them do.

We are happy to arrange a taxi to the train station, as there are not always cars waiting at the station. Just let us know before you arrive.
Boat
Vaihmala Hovi is located by Vanajavesi between Tampere and Hämeenlinna waterway. You can spend the night at the Vaihmala guest pier. There is a charge for electricity, staying without electricity is free.
